Foxes Part II
We finally had a sunny day in Jackson after 4 solid days of rain. I took the opportunity to check on the foxes. The kits were as playful as ever and were wandering a lot farther from the den than earlier in the week.

I think I have a new favorite animal: foxes. Well maybe not but there is nothing quite like watching five rambunctious fox kits. Their den is right in Jackson and only a few blocks from my house. So hopefully I’ll be seeing a lot more of them in the next couple of weeks.
Yellowstone Grizzlies
The south entrance to Yellowstone opened on Friday, so I rambled up there today. Having the south entrance open makes the trip a lot easier. I’m glad I did; I saw a total of 6 grizzlies. Bears Part II
I was up in the park again today photographing 399 and the cubs.
Bears
399 and the cubs were out again in the park. I headed up after work and managed to get some pretty good shots. The bears seemed to be especially playful tonight. I hope this is the beginning of a good spring. You couldn’t ask for a bear to pose any better…
