Shadow Mountain

Today I rambled up to Shadow Mountain, which is a small mountain directly across the valley from the Tetons. I went up there hoping for some good wildflowers. Balsam root was past its prime, but lupine is just starting to come up.

There were a couple of nice mule deer bucks near Kelly on the way home. The light was nice, but unfortunately I didn’t get anything too good.
