I spent a good part of yesterday and this morning watching this grizzly in Yellowstone. The first picture was taken Saturday night, while the other three are from this morning.

These four bison wandered up while the grizzly was scavenging a carcass. Interestingly they watched the bear intently for a few minutes before moving on.

2 Saturdays in Teton Park

I recently moved and have been without an internet connection for a little while. Hence I am late in getting these up.

Pelicans and Mergansers

This image of pelicans and mergansers was taken last weekend. They were interesting to watch. The pelicans would try to steal the fish that the mergansers caught. After a merganser would surface with a fish, the pelicans would grab the merganser in its huge bill in an attempt to steal the catch.

These two images of a grizzly were taken the weekend before last. My first grizzly sighting of the year, with hopefully lots more to come.
